Lunch in Lubec, Maine

We ate lunch today at a nice waterfront restaurant and watched the fog roll in and then it just rolled back out. Today is one of the nicest days since we have been here.

Roosevelt Campobello International Park New Brunswick, Canada

We visited FDR family summer cottage on Campobello island. The cottage was filled with family mementos. Next door was a friends cottage( Hubbard Cottage).

Tides

Here are some low tide then high tide photos of Eastern Bay from our campsite. Sunrise here is damn early, 4:52 a.m. and the sunset is 8:09 p.m.

Drive through Acadia National Park

On our drive through Acadia National Park there are scenic overlooks. We stopped a spot called Sand Beach walked down to check it out. On the way back to the car I noticed someone climbing the mountain wearing a florescent jacket. Along down the road we could see these lobstermen pulling their traps.

There is a walkway that goes 4/10 of a mile around one side of the mountain. Elevation is 1,530. It was a cloudy day, 47 degrees and the wind was blowing about 20 from the North, so it wasn't the best day to be there. But then again it was not that crowded.
