Lobster boat and catch

So after the Light House we headed about 10 miles down the road to visit Ballantyne's Cove Tuna Interpretive Center to learn about the life of the Bluefin tuna and the Bluefin Tuna Catch and release Boat Tours. Guess what. They hadn't open for the season yet. We walked around the wharf looking at the boats. We noticed this green Lobster boat coming in, so we drove over and watched them unload their catch and talked with them for awhile. They were the ones we saw from the light house. They brought in 191 lbs. of lobster. The large one weighed 6 lbs. Then we walked down to this beach area an looked for some sea glass and drift wood. We only found some small drift wood pieces. While at the wharf (where they unloaded the catch of lobsters) we visited with a young couple (they were the two who were weighing and packing the lobsters from the boats, to take to the Lobster pound)they were so interesting. Very Scottish, red hair, blue eyes, Scottish accent, a little hard to understand. We swapped stories about the difference between our Lobsters and their Lobsters. She is the one holding up the large Lobster in the photo. What a lovely afternoon.
